First of all, we would like to congrats to the lucky winner – Mr. Ammar Yazid, the lucky winner of Andaman Grab House @ RM1! The letter below is written from Mr. Ammar Yazid:
Dear Dato’ Sri Dr. Vincent Tiew,
I hope it’s not too late to write this letter to you.
The reason for me to take this long to write this down is because I try to delay of breaking the good news to my family as long as possible. I prefer not to ruin the surprise and now finally that they know about it, they are simply overjoyed with my winning.
First of all, I would like to apologize if I didn’t appear or look excited enough during the final draw ceremony as I was just too overwhelmed by the fact that I have won a property worth RM302,500 at just RM1. Even now, it still feels like a dream to me.
Never did I thought that I will enter the grand finale draw let alone winning the grand prize.
I would like to express my profound gratitude to you for giving out this opportunity and helping out others by conducting this Andaman Grab House RM1 contest.
On a personal note, I must say I am actually amazed and impressed on how the event was conducted. The deciding winning factor and method were fair and transparent.
By allowing each participant to choose their own key, everyone has a fair and equal chance to win the grand prize. I think it was utterly brilliant. To be frank, I was expecting it to be done by ballot or computer generated draw like in many other contests.
On top of that, you have gone out of your way to ensure that everyone is being well taken care of regardless whether they win the grand prize or not.
For example, I don’t think anyone will complain if there are no food were served during the event or for it to be held at a hotel.
All of these are additional costs and there is really no need for you to fork out the extra money.
But the fact that you did your best to ensure the event run fairly, smoothly and successfully, you have my utmost respect Dato Sri.
My family and I can never repay back your kindness and generosity. We truly appreciate for what you have done for our family. May Allah bless you with a long life, good health, and many happy returns. In addition, I would like to share with you a popular Islamic proverb:
Money is not lessened when giving out Sadaqah (Donation)
So I hope that you will never stop and let the naysayers brings you down in your effort to help other people in need.
Last but not least, I would like to take the opportunity to wish you, your family and all members of Andaman Group and Wonderlist who have been involved directly or indirectly with the contest, a great and prosperous Chinese New Year.Gong Xi Fa Chai!!
P/S: I know some of you will think I am coerced or being paid to write this letter but this letter is just my honest opinion on the whole experience of winning the house. I am entitled to my own opinion, thank you.
